Dress Code

Dress Code

All Member's are responsible to inform their family Members and guests of our dress code policies. Members and/or guests who are not properly attired will be addressed by the appropriate Club staff professional. 

The Clubhouse area for dress code purposes include the Main Clubhouse, River Room, Main Bar, Terrace, Overlook Room, Ballroom, Wine Room, Founder's Room, Men's and Ladies Locker Rooms.

  • Country Club Casual is the standard dress code for the Clubhouse. Country Club Casual attire is defined as tucked-in collared shirts and slacks, and similarly appropriate attire for ladies. 
    • Men may wear camp shirts (ie. Tommy Bahama) untucked​
    • Mock turlenecks may be worn at lunch only
    • Men may wear shorts in the dining rooms during golf season 
  • Inappropriate attire includes short shorts, cargo pants and shorts, cut-offs, gym attire, and any clothing with offensive language. 
  • Denim is not permitted at any time in the upstairs Clubhouse. 
  • Hats and visors for men, ladies, and juniors are not permitted, except for ladies' fashion hats. 
  • Footwear is always required. Men are permitted to wear sandals until 5:00 pm during golf season. Flip flops are not permitted. 
  • Dining at the Clubhouse is casual attire or better (as defined above) throughout the Clubhouse unless a special event requires otherwise. 
In the event of a party or specialized dining event where the theme is present, a separate dress code may be created for the evening. Details will vary, be sure to check with the front desk in these circumstances. 
  • A Semi-Formal Dress Code will require a jacket for men; collared shirts under the jacket or blazer must be tucked in. 
  • A Formal Dress Code will require a jacket and tie. 
  • A Black Tie Dress Code will require a full tuxedo or dinner jacket for men. 

 
  • Dining in the Lyon's Den, unless specified otherwise is casual. Acceptable denim is permitted; cut-off, ripped, torn, or frayed denim is considered unacceptable. 
  • ​Footwear is required at all times.
  • Hats or visors for men, ladies, and juniors are not permitted, except for ladies' fashion hats. 
  • Tennis or golf attire is permitted in the Lyon's Den for dining during lunch and dinner. 
  • Proper golf attire must be worn on the course, practice range, putting greens, and other practice facilities. 
  • No jeans, cargo shorts or cargo pants, sweats, tights, short shorts, or tennis whites are permitted. 
  • T-shirts, halter tops, or tank tops are not permitted. 
  • Golf (no metal spikes) or flat sole shoes are required. 
  • No backward hats or untucked shirts are allowed.

Tennis Courts
  • Traditional tennis whites are required at all times for players on the tennis courts.
  • No colored shirts or shorts are allowed for Members or guests. 
  • Warm-up apparel may be any color. 
  • All headwear must be white. 
  • T-shirts, cut-offs, and running shorts are not permitted. 
  • Shirts must be worn at all times. 
  • All players must wear soft-soled sneakers while on the courts. Running shoes and soles with irregular surfaces are not allowed.
  • Play in bare feet is not permitted at any time. 
Paddle & Pickleball 
  • Any colored athletice wear is permitted. 
  • All players must wear tennis sneakers while on the courts. 
  • All children must wear protective headgear. Helmets are available in the Skate Pro Shop. 
  • Gloves are to be worn at all times. 
  • Please see the Skate Pro Shop if you have any questions about appropriate attire. 
  • Acceptable denim and shorts are permitted poolside. Cut-off, ripped, torn, frayed attire and gym attire are unacceptable. 
  • Bathing suits and cover-ups are acceptable at the pool, and in The Turn (snack bar) on the pool side only.
